System & maintenance

System cleanup (disk, journal, release versions)

Cleanup tab in System maintenance — scan, remove cache, journal vacuum and prune old OTA releases.

  1. Open the Cleanup tab

    System maintenance → Cleanup tab. Three subtabs: Disk & cache, Systemd journal, Panel release versions.

  2. Disk & cache

    Click Scan to see how much space apt cache, temp files and similar use. Select items and run Cleanup. An estimate of freed space is shown before deletion.

  3. Systemd journal

    Scan journal size. Vacuum limits current log size. Permanent settings (SystemMaxUse, MaxRetentionSec…) are written to /etc/systemd/journald.conf — the panel provides a form without manual editing.

  4. Panel release versions

    Each OTA upgrade leaves the old version in /home/uadmin/releases/. The tab shows versions that are not active (current symlink) and disk usage. Delete old release directories when you are sure rollback is not needed.

    Tip

    Never delete the active version the current symlink points to.
