DNS — re-apply install steps

Maintenance, firewall, connector and TLS on the DNS VM from the panel without manual SSH.

  1. Where in the panel

    DNS → Server data (or Server management → Data). The «Maintenance and install steps» section offers a button to re-run each install step on the remote DNS server using stored SSH credentials.

  2. Steps you can re-apply

    OS maintenance (7-day journal, automatic security updates), UFW firewall (port 53 public, connector 8443 only from panel IPs), uAdmin connector service, connector TLS certificate. Use after panel OTA, panel IP change or if health check reports connector issues.

  3. SSH credentials

    Re-apply requires SSH credentials saved during install or attach. If the panel reports missing SSH data, reconnect the server with correct root access (Attach existing or update credentials on the server page).

  4. Auth errors and sync

    If the connector is reachable but health reports an auth error, first use «Sync API key from server» on DNS overview. Re-apply the connector only if sync does not help or after major changes on the DNS VM.
