Backup & restore

Backup recommendations

Backup schedule, SFTP copy, retention and test restore.

  1. Scheduled backup

    Settings → System: enable scheduled backup and pick daily times. Panel backs up files, config and db for all active projects.

  2. SFTP copy

    On project backups page configure SFTP (host, user, remote path). Can auto-upload after each backup.

  3. Retention and test

    Settings → System defines how many old backups to keep. Regularly test restore on dev environment — backup without tested restore is not reliable.

    Tip

    Before major changes (update, PHP migration) take manual backup files + db + config.
